Docklands Sailability
Overview
People of all ages, abilities and experience are welcome to come and sail in our fleet of safe and stable Hansa Class sailboats.
Community Sailing Days are usually held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, year round. (check our calendar page for exact dates). The cost of the day is $35 per boat, which can hold 2 people. This entitles you to day membership of the Club, insurance for water-based activities through the Yachting Australia insurance scheme, use of a boat, basic instruction, supervision and life jackets. Should you chose to become a member of DYC, your day membership cost is deducted from your full membership fee.
We operate every second and fourth Sunday of the month, year-round.
Other times by arrangement. Hours are 11am to 4pm.
Exceptions are gale warnings for the bay and sailing regattas that include Hansa boats.
