Overview
The Sailability Programs welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels, ranging from newcomers to seasoned sailors. Employing a fleet of Hansa 303 sailboats that won’t capsize or tip over, we have developed a sailing program that is perfect for ages 18 months up to 80+ years!
At BYS, our Club’s motto, “Family, Friendship, Sailing” encapsulates the welcoming environment we aspire to create for our members and guests. Sailing is a sport where anyone can participate, and we strive to ensure that everyone feels at home and valued.
This same spirit drives our renowned Sailability Program, an initiative aimed at enabling individuals with special needs, limited mobility, or disabilities to partake in the joys of sailing.

To ensure accessibility, our facilities feature a drive-up jetty and loading sling tailored for wheelchair users.
Our program is delivered by dedicated volunteers who will accompany you sailing on our beautiful calm waters protected by our marina. Lifejackets are provided so you can get out sailing with a minimum of fuss.
