International Day of People with Disability

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations (UN) day celebrated worldwide on Wednesday 3 December 2025. Its goal is to raise awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities.

The theme for IDPwD 2025 is 'Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.'

All Abilities Sports Afternoon with Sports Central

Noble Park International Day of People with Disability 

• Free Community Event
• Noble Park Free access to Noble Park Aquatic Centre
• Craft and Recreation Activities

• Free Lunch and Coffee

Civic Reserve Recreation Centre All Abilities Day

Come and celebrate International Day of People with Disability. An award nominated event that you won't want to miss!

• 10am-2pm at Civic Reserve Recreation Centre - Mornington
• Includes table tennis, art activities, basketball, pickleball, cricket and passive games
• The day will finish with everyone participating in a BAM DISCO!

• Morning tea is available for purchase on the day, or participants are also welcome to bring their own morning tea & lunch.

End of Year Closure Dates

The aaaplay service will be closed from Wednesday 24th December 2025 - Sunday 4th January 2026 (inclusive).

During this time, no updates to the website or enquiries will be responded to, however the website will be online as usual. We will get back to you as soon as possible once we return.

We wish everyone a Happy Holiday period and can't wait to showcase more accessible and inclusive activities on the website in 2026.

Australian Open 2026 - All Abilities Day

2026 is starting off strong, with the Australian Open on between 12 January - 1 February.

The AO26 All Abilities Day is on Tuesday 27 January and showcases Tennis Australia’s disability pathways on the precinct’s biggest courts, including:

• Wheelchair Tennis
• Blind and Low Vision Tennis (BLV)
• Deaf and Hard of Hearing Tennis (DHOH)
• Tennis for players with Intellectual Disability & Autism (IDA)

• Para standing Tennis

There are also guest speakers, interactive activities and much more!

The Australian Open is a global leader in diversity and inclusion and is recognised as being one of the most accessible major sporting events across the world so if you haven't been before, 2026 is the perfect year to check out all of the amazing accessibility features.
