Geelong West Neighbourhood House

Neighbourhood Houses started in the 1970s and now there are 400 of them in Victoria, Australia. More are still being added to meet the needs of the community.

These houses are special because they are run by and for the local community. Everyone can help make decisions.

Neighbourhood Houses are welcoming places. Anyone can come to make new friends, join in community activities, and learn new things.

Each Neighbourhood House is different, but they all help people grow, learn, and share knowledge. They work with other community groups to make life better for everyone.
