Accessibility of Touchscreen Technology

Blind Citizens Australia (BCA) knows that touchscreen technology compromises the independence of people who are blind or vision impaired in many areas of public and private life. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to advocate on all these issues at once, so our focus is currently on banking accessibility, with an emphasis on inaccessible touchscreen EFTPOS terminals that are increasingly being used across the retail and hospitality industries.
