What is Autism - introducing Amaze’s new online course

After months of consultation and development Amaze is proud to launch our new What is Autism online training course.

The free online course is a self-paced program containing written, audio and video content and can be completed from all devices in one sitting. It takes approximately one hour to complete all sections.

After completing the course, you will learn more about autism, the diversity of the experience of autism and the different levels used to describe autism support needs. You will also understand the social model of disability and learn the importance of strengths-based language.

The online course also covers what it means to experience the world as an Autistic person and how to support and appreciate the diversity and uniqueness of Autistic people at work.

Our new online training course was developed after consultation and feedback from a range of stakeholders including Amaze staff, Autistic people, industry partners and a cross section of organisations.
