Come and join Badminton Victoria at any of their upcoming All Ability sessions across Victoria!

Badminton Victoria is pleased to launch our All Abilities Badminton programs in Melbourne from Monday 15th of November. A new program starts at Boroondara Sports Complex on Monday afternoons, and sessions are restarting in Springers Leisure Centre on Wednesday nights.

These pilot sessions follow the successful launch of current All Abilities Badminton sessions with Ballarat Badminton Association (Wendouree, Ballarat) and Western Suburbs Badminton Association with Ability Para Badminton Club (Altona North, Melbourne).

The sessions offer beginner-friendly opportunities to try badminton and para badminton, welcoming people of all ages and abilities. Both programs are NDIS-friendly, welcome families, friends, allies and carers to participate join in the fun.

Badminton Victoria would like to thank the collaborative efforts with Ability Para Badminton Club, Badminton Australia and Badminton Oceania, and the support of the State Government of Victoria for making these programs come to life. Badminton Victoria is enthusiastic to establish the programs as community hubs to create more accessible and inclusive opportunities for people with disability to play badminton and para badminton.

Volunteers and qualified badminton coaches are currently being sought for these programs. Badminton Victoria would like to hear from people with a passion for community inclusion and diversity.
