As you leave Koonwarra, a line of amber trees leads the way. The Trail crosses the highway a few times using underpasses and tunnels. Soon, you’ll see a pretty gully on your left and cross some small bridges.
The big Tarwin River Bridge is next to an old wooden bridge that’s no longer used. When you ride over the new bridge, you’ll hear a click-clack sound from the wooden boards.
The Trail then goes through bushland and fields with gum trees and cows resting in the shade. You’ll know you’ve reached Meeniyan when you see the Community Gardens and some sculptures on your right.
