Mornington Yacht Club is on Schnapper Point Drive in Mornington, about 50 km south-east of Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula. The club started in 1946.
The clubhouse is close to the water, near the Mornington pier and some great swimming beaches. The club has a deep-water harbour that is safe from wind from the west, south, and east, but open to the north. It also has a boat ramp, two cranes that can lift boats up to 2 tonnes, and a slipway. MYC has special equipment to help people with disabilities enjoy sailing too.
