Boroondara Park Primary School has large, grassy playing fields that are used for lots of sports and activities.
The school’s grounds include two big ovals that can be marked out for soccer, AFL and cricket games. These open grass areas are well kept and give plenty of space for running, playing and training.
Every Saturday during the soccer season, the Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East Club uses one of the fields for soccer training and games.
This club is for people with an intellectual disability and focuses on having fun, learning soccer skills, staying active and making friends.
The field is a safe and friendly place where players of all abilities can enjoy the sport together.
The soccer field at the school is flat and open, with lots of room around the playing area. It’s part of the school’s larger outdoor space, so players can enjoy fresh air and plenty of room to move.
