Bon Thomas Reserve suburban park playground as part of the implementation of the Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan.
The upgraded playground provides a variety of play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities, while retaining the existing basketball half court. New facilities, including a shelter and picnic tables, create a welcoming space for families and the wider community to gather, relax, and enjoy the park.
New trees were also planted around the playground to enhance the park environment and provide additional shade as they mature.
