Wheelchair Nature Scoot at Churchill Park
Parks Victoria and Victoria Walks invite you to join our experienced volunteer guides to discover the beauty of Churchill NP on a trail suitable wheelchair users and walkers.
There will be an opportunity to contribute observations of flora and fauna to Parks Victoria's citizen science projects through iNaturalist (online global platform for science and conservation observations), however no prior experience with iNaturalist is required.
The trail features as one of Victoria Walk's accessible walks. For information on the trail, including its accessibility features, please visit - https://walkingmaps.com.au/walk/5903
The trail is just over 2.5 kms and flat and easy. It follows an old water channel through the scenic bushland of south east Melbourne's Churchill National Park.
Please bring a water bottle, closed comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. Please bring binoculars if you have them, but they are not essential for the scoot.
Meeting point is at the BBQ area on Army Track, Churchill National Park.
Please note that bookings are essential
