Yea River Walk is a 2km, grade 1 circuit hike located in the Toolangi Bushland Reserve, Victoria. The hike should take approximately 1hr to complete. Summary The Yea River Walk is a lovely short walk through the Toolangi Bushland Reserve to the Yea River. It is through some very beautiful bush along well graded and maintained trails. Plus it is a great walk to bring the kids along, but can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It starts from just over the road from the Discovery Centre (but is signposted from the carpark). After crossing the road, there is a sign indicating the entrance to take. Shortly you will reach a junction, go straight ahead to continue the circuit to the river. After the river the trail loops back around towards to the road. Shortly the trail veers off to the left at a junction. Take the left and then continue along to the road. Carefully cross and then follow the sculptures back to the carpark. Getting there Toolangi can be reached via Kinglake and C724 if coming from Northern or perhaps Western suburbs. Or B300, then C724. The Discovery Centre is next to the CFA at the East end of the town, with the carpark at the rear. Tips Whilst here you can also add the Toolangi Sculpture Trail to make a roughly 4km walk in total.
