Spin - Indoor Cycling
Overview
A weekly stationary bike class for people with vision impairment led by a personal trainer. Volunteers provide assistance as required.
Spin classes offer the opportunity to participate in organised indoor cycling and involve using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a class setting. Spin classes are great to help build endurance and strength
These weekly classes for adult blind and vision impaired participants are suitable for varying levels of fitness. You will be able to set your level of difficulty on the bikes and determine how much you'd like to stretch yourself.
Where: Hawthorn Leisure and Aquatic Centre. 1 Grace St Hawthorn.
When: Wednesdays, 11:00 am to 11:45am
Age: Classes are suitable for people aged over 18.
Cost: $6.10 for CAC card holders (apply in the gym with a health care card) $12.10 concession price, each Spin class
Support: Denise, our Spin class personal trainer, will help you set the right pace for you.
