South Melbourne Football Club - Powerchair
Overview
Powerchair football is a modified version of football (soccer) for powerchair (electric wheelchair) users. The sport is played on a regulation basketball court using a 33cm ball. There are two teams of four players (including the goal keeper).
Powerchair footballers are all ages, all genders and all abilities. We welcome anyone to come and join us.
South Melbourne Football Club welcome all ages, all genders and all abilities to join us.
South Melbourne encourage anyone interested in knowing more to come along to one of our events or to a round of powerchair football to understand what its all about. This is free and you are under no obligaiton to participate or join in. All of their players and volunteers are happy to have a chat and share their experiences.
