Noojee Trestle Bridge is a 5.3km, grade 1 return hike located in the Yarra State Forest, Victoria. The hike should take approximately 1.5hrs to complete. Summary This is a simple and short hike, but is well worth doing as the area is pretty and the Nojee Trestle Bridge is quite impressive and worth a look. The trail can be accessed at various points in the small settlement of Noojee. A good option is to start from Henry St and walk uphill to join the rail trail. Then turn right and wander along. The walk is pretty well as flat as a pancake and is a good stroll with children, or just as a gentle walk. You'll come to the bridge in about 1.5 km, but you can continue on for about a km or so to reach the end of the trail. To return to Noojee you can follow the route you came, or make your way to the main road from the carpark at the bridge and walk that. Personally I recommend retracing yoursteps so you don't need to deal with the traffic. Getting there Noojee can be approached from either the Warburton Highwayand then C425. Or you can take the M1 Princes Highway, take the C426 (Neerim South) and C425 to Noojee. Tips Take time to explore the bridge by taking the paths to the bottom, it looks more impressive from down there.
