Melton Waves Gym and Fitness Centre

Melton Waves Leisure Centre is the only fitness and leisure centre in Melbourne’s West with a wave pool! Our centre offers you waves from the beach indoors, and while we don’t have the beach’s sand and sun, we have all the fun of the waves in a safe and supervised environment.

We offer you an extensive range of aquatic and leisure facilities, including a total of seven swimming pools. Melton Waves aquatic facilities include a 50-metre outdoor swimming pool and 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a spa, toddler pool and warm water swimming pool used for swimming lessons and aqua aerobics classes.

Achieve your fitness goals in our state-of-the-art gym or join in the fun of our group fitness classes, with over 30 group fitness classes, there’s bound to be a class to suit you!

Melton Waves Leisure Centre’s friendly and approachable staff are always available to ensure that your experience is as easy as possible. Our lifeguards and instructors are all specially instructed to ensure that they make themselves available at all times to be of assistance where possible.

Melton Waves Leisure Centre has safe and easy access for our disabled and special needs patrons with all our pools having rails at the entrances.

Hydrotherapy PoolHydrotherapy (or aquatic exercise) provides a safe, controlled space for both exercise and rehabilitation in a therapeutic environment. Set at an average of 34°C, the water in a hydrotherapy pool is significantly warmer than a regular swimming pool. :

Ramps to access poolsA pool ramp is an accessible way for individuals to safely and conveniently enter or exit a public swimming pool. A pool ramp can be placed within the pool permanently or have wheels to allow the steps or ramp to be easily moved or stored when necessary. :
