Hoops for Wheelies is a fun and inclusive wheelchair basketball program at Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA).
Sessions include warm-ups, skill drills, and games, all with a coach in a friendly and supportive setting. No experience is needed — beginners are very welcome!
Wheelchairs and basketballs are provided, or you can bring your own sports wheelchair.
This program is open to people of all ages and abilities, especially those with:
- Childhood-onset physical disabilities
- Spinal cord injuries
- Other physical disabilities or chronic conditions
People without a disability can also join and try wheelchair basketball.
When: Fridays during school terms, 5pm–6pm
Ages: Children 5–12, Youth 13–17, Young Adults 18–25, Adults 26+
Cost: $120 for a 6-week session
