Frankston Basketball's Wheelchair Basketball
Overview
Hoops is for everyone! ‘Hoops for wheelies!’ (wheelchair basketball) is coming to Frankston Basketball.
About
Opportunities are available for all people to engage with this part of our sport, particularly those with:
Childhood-onset physical disabilities
Spinal cord injury (SCI)
Secondary physical disabilities
Physical impairment that is not traditionally seen as a disability (e.g. chronic conditions that prevent people from participating in their chosen sport).
Participants will do 10 mins of drills; the remainder of the session will be playing a game.

Open Age
Participants will do a variety of activities/drills each session.
Participant Cap:
Registration is capped at 12 players due to chair availability.
Sports wheelchairs are provided.
If you have your own sports wheelchair, you are welcome to bring it along.
Venue:
Court 1. After entering the building, go straight ahead to the court which has bleachers on either side.
Other Information:
Basketballs and wheelchairs will be provided for use during the session but if participants have their own ball or sports wheelchair, they are welcome to bring it along.
Please feel free to bring anything needed to help with being comfortable.
