Frankston Basketball's Inclusion Skills Program

The Frankston Basketball’s Inclusion Skills Program (Term 4, 2024) is an inclusive program to encourage sports and recreation opportunities for people with a disability.
This program will help participants in many ways including building independence, turn-taking skills, and hand-eye coordination while offering the chance to meet new friends in a fun, social, low-pressure environment.
It’s important that all participants are accompanied by a parent or carer for the duration of the session.
A social story will be sent via email after registration.

Time: 4.45pm – 5.15pm
Cost: $40 per term
Age: Open Age
Participants will do a variety of drills each session. There are no full games of basketball played in these sessions.
Venue:
Court 6. After entering the building, walk to your right, after the canteen turn right again and it’s the first door on the left.
Other Information:
Basketballs and equipment will be provided for use during the session but if participants have their own ball, they are welcome to bring it along
Please feel free to bring anything needed to help your child/ children to be comfortable i.e noise-cancelling headphones, iPad, visuals, ACC communication device, etc.
