Cost: FREE
Session Details:
- Skills sessions last 60 minutes in total.
- The drills and games are played on a regulation basketball court. Most drills require 3 to 4 people, however, individual drills are also done.
- Current drills focus on getting to know the basketball court and feeling a ring and backboard to know the size of the goal.
- Dribbling, bounce passes, shooting, team passing and movements in a half-court and full-court setting.
- We have modified equipment such as a bell ball, sound rings, floor rings, a braille map of the basketball court etc.
Who can play:
Anyone who is blind or has vision loss. We cater for any age.
Everybody who wishes to give blind/vision-impaired basketball a go is welcome!
The sessions are free to all participants. Experience a new sport with activities and skills training throughout the session.

Where:
Sessions run on Court 2. The first court as you enter the building
