The Football Integration Development Association (FIDA) provides opportunities for people with an intellectual disability to take part in a structured Australian Football competition. FIDA plays games fortnightly throughout the AFL season and has teams based right through Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. FIDA is open to Males and Females between the ages of 14 – 40 with an intellectual disability and aims to foster inclusion, fun, fitness and friendship. It is open to both male and female players, aged 14 years to 40 years, with an intellectual disability.
